Job Title: Registered Nurse - Oncology

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Methodist Charlton Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse - Oncology, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our oncology unit.

About the Job:

The COVID Vaccination Clinic Nurse will be responsible for administering the COVID vaccine during scheduled vaccination clinics. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of our community.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer COVID vaccine to patients during scheduled clinics
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification
  • Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
  • At least 1 year RN or LVN experience
  • ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Course certificate required within 6 months of hire
  • Previous oncology experience preferred
  • OCN certification required within 48 months of hire
