Maintenance Technician Job Description

Infinity Management & Investments LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance of our apartment complex, including all areas related to day-to-day maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks to maintain the property's infrastructure.
  • Repair and address structures and/or fixtures, including showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls, and building exteriors.
  • Prepare units for new move-ins by ensuring they are clean, safe, and ready for occupancy.
  • Have a working knowledge of HVAC systems and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Complete grounds work, including landscaping and snow removal, to maintain the property's appearance.
  • Coordinate special projects as directed by the Resident Manager or Regional Manager.
Requirements:
  • Must have a professional and courteous approach when interacting with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees.
  • Must have the necessary tools to effectively complete tasks outlined above.
  • Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Additional Requirements:
  • Must check in with the property manager at the start and end of each shift.
  • Must fulfill the performance standards of this position and comply with policies, rules, and procedures of the company.
  • Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
