Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively seeks opportunities to greet, engage, assist, and appreciate customers, fostering a welcoming and enthusiastic service environment.
- Processes orders, addresses inquiries, and utilizes suggestive selling techniques.
- Prepares, organizes, showcases, and rotates products in fresh food displays.
- Prepares food items following established recipes, safety protocols, and specified cooking durations.
- Handles frozen goods with care.
- Conducts quality and freshness inspections on all products.
- Assembles cases by arranging products in fresh pans, rotating stock, and ensuring proper display.
- Applies appropriate signage on all products, including pricing, descriptions, and necessary labeling information.
- Maintains cleanliness and functionality of department equipment, including fryers and slicers, through proper cleaning and sanitization procedures.
- Ensures a clean and sanitary department by washing surfaces, managing waste, and maintaining display areas.
- Receives and verifies inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and order fulfillment.
- Adheres to strict sanitation guidelines and maintains necessary records.
- Performs additional duties as required.
- Understands and complies with all food safety regulations and procedures.
Qualifications:
Essential Skills:
- Ability to work flexible hours, primarily between 5:00 am and 10:00 pm, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and fulfill orders.
- Capable of conducting visual inspections and following production guidelines, recipes, and product labels.
- Basic mathematical skills for calculations involving weights and measures.
- Ability to perform tasks with mental alertness, recognizing potential hazards associated with equipment and procedures.
- Completion of training programs and adherence to productivity and accuracy standards.
- Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment.
- Experience using cleaning chemicals and handling food products safely.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and navigate tight spaces.
- Experience handling refrigerated products and working around heat-emitting machinery.
- Efficient and accurate execution of primary responsibilities.
