Job Title: Toddler Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Toddler Teacher to join our team at Primrose School of Norman. As a Toddler Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and helping them develop essential skills for future success.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and care for a group of children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Implement the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum, creating engaging and interactive lesson plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Assess each child's developmental needs and adapt teaching strategies to meet their individual requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team to plan parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages children to explore and learn.
  • Provide clear expectations and positive reinforcement to promote good behavior and self-confidence.
  • Attend staff meetings, workshops, and school functions to stay updated on best practices and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Meet the basic requirements of local childcare regulatory agencies.
  • Master's degree in early childhood education or a related field (an added advantage).
  • Previous teaching or assistant teaching experience in a licensed early childhood program (preferred).
  • Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds in connection with handling children and facilitating programs.
