At ManTech, we're seeking a highly skilled Security Controls Engineer to join our team. As a critical member of our organization, you'll play a key role in protecting our nation's security while working on innovative projects that drive growth and advancement.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and engineer security controls to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure systems and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages and provide expert guidance on security controls.
  • Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities through advanced threat analysis and mitigation techniques.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members to ensure knowledge transfer and growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security controls and risk management.
  • DoD IAT Level III Certification and experience with ACAS vulnerability scans, SCAP scans, and STIG checklists.
  • Knowledge of RMF development and ability to validate security control implementation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Cybersecurity or related field.
  • IAM III qualifying certifications such as CISSP or CCSP.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
