We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Alternative Product Solutions team at Voya Financial. As a Senior Product Development Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and development of our private and alternatives platform.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and develop new investment vehicles that enable the distribution of Voya's private market strategies globally, with a focus on insurance clients.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and third parties to bring client-forward solutions from ideation to completion.
- Act as a key point of contact within the product team on insurance asset management client issues, trends, and developments.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on fund vehicles, including tax, capital treatment, and regulatory implications.
- Lead the assessment, project management, and launch of new product structures, collaborating with senior partners from Product, Investments, Legal, and Compliance.
- Participate in client or prospect discussions related to product structures and solutions.
- Utilize experience in capital-efficient structuring for insurance companies to advise on optimal investment vehicles for specific opportunities.
- Develop analytical tools and financial modeling to evaluate fund debt structures and inform business decisions.
- Provide guidance and product information to portfolio managers, marketing, and sales teams to support client positioning and due diligence requests.
- 10+ years of financial services-related experience with a focus on private fixed income strategies.
- Insurance investment management experience gained through work at an insurance company, asset manager, investment bank, or consulting firm.
- Strong understanding of private funds, including master feeder and rated note funds.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and quantitative skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with professionals at all levels and departments.
- Team player with ability to research solutions and find creative resolutions.
- Highly motivated self-starter with ability to set priorities, manage cross-stakeholder projects, and drive decision-making.
- Undergraduate degree with excellent academic background; additional credentials such as CFA, CAIA, MBA, or CPA a plus.
- Highly proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Series 7 and 63 or ability to obtain.
- Competitive salary range: $150,000 to $195,000 USD.
- Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
