Position Overview

The Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Clinical Faculty Member in Oncology. This full-time, non-tenure track role is integral to our mission of providing exceptional pharmaceutical education and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clinical pharmacists and medical professionals to enhance the treatment of adult oncology patients.
  • Participate actively in the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, contributing to discussions and decisions that impact patient care.
  • Engage in the education and training of medical, nursing, and pharmacy staff, including pharmacy residents.
  • Lead special projects and contribute to the development of medication guidelines and order sets.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and have completed a minimum of two years of residency training or equivalent experience. Licensure or eligibility for licensure in New Jersey is required.
