We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg Float Pool team at Meriter-UnityPoint Health. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to hospital policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Supervise delegated nursing acts and provide guidance to nursing staff as needed.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
- Graduate of a BSN program or equivalent nursing degree.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin.
- CPR certification or eligibility to complete within three months of hire.
- One year of nursing experience, preferably in a Mobile Unit setting.
- BSN degree.
- EPIC Super User or demonstrated EPIC proficiency.
- Critical Care experience.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and teach.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ultrasound PIV insertion training or basic PIV insertion skills.
