Requirements:
  • Must have experience working in different med/surg units
  • Floating experience preferred
  • Completed two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years
  • Experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital
  • Successfully completed traveler assignment (13 weeks)


Schedule Information: Travelers can work a variety of schedules and may be assigned to multiple units depending on staffing needs. During the assignment, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit if the primary unit no longer has a need.

Unit Specific Information: The Medical/Surgical Float team requires a wide variety of high-level nursing skills.

Additional Details: UW Health is transitioning to newer file formats for Microsoft Office documents.
