Job Description:

As a Manufacturing Process Engineer at Actalent, you will be responsible for ensuring that all assembly processes, equipment, and supporting systems operate to their maximum effectiveness, within specified safety and cost constraints, and that all products are of the highest possible quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain process sheets (work instructions) necessary to manufacture all products, ensuring quality within established cost limits.
  • Define and implement test parameters for electrical and mechanical integrity of products, considering safety, quality, and environmental issues.
  • Teach, implement, and sustain DFSS and DFM processes into engineering development projects, working with engineers and prototype/sample departments.
  • Plan, document, and provide periodic status reports on test results, processes, and workflow improvements.
  • Generate PPAP packages, including Capability Studies, FMEA, and Control Plans.
  • Plan, document, control, and analyze RMA (Returned Material) to determine root cause and develop corrective actions.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company rules.
  • Operate and train on various equipment, including calipers, voltmeters, assembly aids, and electrical testing equipment.

Requirements:

  • Electronics assembly experience
  • Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions knowledge
  • Root Cause Analysis and Corrective actions skills
  • PPAP and Lean Manufacturing experience
