Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, results-oriented, and possess a personal investment in the products and services we manage. You should be adept at balancing multiple priorities and navigating uncertainty. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with engineers on your team and across partner teams are essential.

Essential Qualifications
  • 5+ years of demonstrated excellence in systems software development or related experience
  • 3+ years of experience leading a development team
  • Proficiency in C, C++, Objective-C, or Swift
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with secure and privacy-focused designs
  • Self-motivated with the ability to drive projects from concept to production
Preferred Qualifications
  • Passion for product ownership and a proven track record in product development
  • Able to coordinate the efforts of multiple teams effectively
  • Experience in building operating systems, kernels, drivers, daemons, and frameworks
  • Knowledge of designing, implementing, and managing large-scale distributed systems and networking protocols
  • Familiarity with Networking Protocols, Security, Privacy, and Cryptography (including TLS, cryptographic chains of trust, data encryption at rest, Key Transparency, and end-to-end encryption)
