About the Role

As a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist at SCA Health, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of cardiac services to patients. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procedure Support: Scrub and assist physicians with cardiac, vascular, and IR procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Patient Care: Provide direct patient care to stable and acute patients, including hemodynamic monitoring, arrhythmia recognition, and aseptic technique.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Calibrate and troubleshoot various types of cath lab and computer equipment, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, facility staff, vendors, and the public, both in person and via phone or email.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all procedures are carried out in accordance with facility policies and procedures, and that all necessary records and reports are maintained.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate from an AMA-approved school of Radiological technology or a certified RCIS program, with an AS or BS degree preferred.
  • Certifications: ARRT or RCIS Certification required, with current BLS and ACLS certification also required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of cardiac cath lab experience, with a working knowledge of radiology procedures related to the cardiac cath lab.
  • Skills: Ability to manipulate various types of electronic, radiographic, and clinical equipment, with a strong understanding of hemodynamic monitoring, arrhythmia recognition, and aseptic technique.
Compensation

USD $35.00/Hr. - USD $50.00/Hr.
