Job Summary:
Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team. As an SLPA, you will play a vital role in supporting students with communication disorders in a school-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of speech and language therapy plans, working closely with a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to ensure effective treatment.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing your expertise to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
- Track and document student progress, providing regular updates to the SLP and other relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student.
- Provide support for students with a range of communication disorders, including articulation, language, and fluency difficulties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- Valid California SLPA license.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
