Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the planning and execution of the complete project management lifecycle for roofing installations on commercial properties. This encompasses:
    1. Collaborating with project estimators to assess estimates and define the scope of each project, including:
      1. Evaluating project specifications from consulting and engineering firms.
      2. Reviewing estimates using spreadsheet software and addressing any queries with the project estimator.
      3. Examining aerial images of roofs to identify potential challenges.
  2. Strategically plan projects to ensure all elements are appropriately allocated and scheduled, which includes:
    1. Budgeting for materials and labor;
    2. Ordering materials;
    3. Establishing schedules and timelines;
    4. Creating safety plans;
    5. Drafting contracts for subcontractors and vendors.
  3. Manage on-site crews and subcontractors, ensuring:
    1. Quality workmanship adheres to company and industry standards;
    2. Compliance with written specifications;
    3. Effective resolution of issues that arise during the project;
    4. Continuous verification of adherence to safety guidelines in accordance with OSHA and company standards.
  4. Prepare and present various reports that detail project progress to both the company and clients.
  5. Facilitate communication with staff, supervisors, and other stakeholders regarding ongoing projects, including:
    1. Discussing budgets and the current financial status of projects;
    2. Setting plans and objectives.
  6. Negotiate contracts in response to unforeseen changes and manage contract renegotiations with contractors and subcontractors.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial roofing industry.

  • Bi-lingual candidates are a plus.

Travel Requirements:

Travel is expected for this position.
