Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures
  • Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient procedures
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and technologies
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Surgical Technician program or Accelerated Alternative Delivery Surgical Technology (AAD-ST) certificate program completion required
  • National Board of Surgical Technology & Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) certification required
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
