About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Awake Overnight Residential Counselor to join our team at Vinfen. As a member of our residential program, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a small group setting or individual living arrangement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, promoting their independence and quality of life.
  • Implement treatment plans and administer medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP).
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care and household tasks.
  • Nightly cleaning and filing responsibilities.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in a human services-related field preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or acquired brain injury strongly preferred.
  • Strong time management and writing skills.
  • Ability to become CPR, First Aid certified within 2 weeks of employment and MAP certified within 150 days of employment.
