Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students dealing with personal, social, or emotional issues.
  • Address issues such as family problems, bullying, behavioral concerns, and mental health challenges.
  • Conduct assessments to identify and understand the social and emotional needs of students.
  • Evaluate the impact of social, economic, and environmental factors on a student's well-being and academic performance.
  • Assist in crisis situations, such as emergencies, trauma, or other sudden and distressing events affecting students or the school community.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work
  • Valid Illinois Social Worker Certification required
  • Able to pass a background check and drug test required
