Global Response Team is seeking a dedicated and experienced Water & Fire Restoration Supervisor to join our growing team. This role will report directly to project managers, overseeing the execution of commercial restoration projects across various locations.
As a key member of our emergency response unit, you will play a vital role in mitigating damage caused by water, fire, mold, natural disasters, and other unforeseen events. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in guiding crews through every stage of the restoration process, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise mitigation and remediation crews, providing clear direction and guidance throughout projects.
- Conduct thorough assessments of damage, identifying the scope of work required for each project.
- Implement emergency response protocols, ensuring safety and adherence to industry standards.
- Oversee water extraction procedures, equipment setup (air movers, dehumidifiers), and containment strategies.
- Perform detailed moisture readings, humidity level monitoring, and create comprehensive mapping of affected areas.
- Determine the removal of damaged building components and execute demolition tasks as needed.
- Possess a strong understanding of construction practices and procedures.
- Experience in reconstruction projects (framing, drywall, painting, carpentry) is highly desirable.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the commercial restoration industry, with proven leadership experience.
- Extensive knowledge of emergency response protocols and best practices.
- Proficiency in water extraction techniques, equipment operation, and containment strategies.
- Ability to perform detailed moisture readings, humidity level monitoring, and create comprehensive mapping.
- Strong understanding of construction principles and demolition procedures.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
