Collaboration with clinical managers, directors, and fellow NPs is essential to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program with a Master of Science in Nursing or higher, specializing in Acute Care or Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
  • Possession of a current California RN license and Nurse Practitioner certification is mandatory. Certification from the American Nurse Credentialing Center as an ACNP/AGACNP or equivalent is required. BLS and ACLS certifications must be current, along with obtaining a Furnishing license and DEA license for controlled substances within six months of employment.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience, particularly in pulmonary or critical care settings, is preferred. Completion of the Fundamental Critical Care Support Course is advantageous. Familiarity with pharmacological treatments is essential. Newly graduated Acute Care Nurse Practitioners are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to assess and evaluate patients' physical and emotional health is crucial. The NP should demonstrate competence in delivering age-appropriate care for Adult and Geriatric patients. A clear credentials verification through the AHP process is necessary.

Compensation:

The hourly salary range starts at $91.92, with the offered rate reflecting the candidate's experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
