We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Coordinator to join our award-winning team at Southern Regional Medical Center.
As a key member of our Performance Improvement team, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with company policies and state/federal regulatory and accreditation standards.
Responsibilities- Assist in the coordination, integration, and implementation of organization-wide performance improvement activities
- Review charts for care issues and abstract data for CMS Core Measures and quality outcomes studies
- Develop and implement staff education programs on core measures and updates on new and enhanced indicators
- Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare-related field (preferred)
- State RN licensure or certification in a healthcare field (preferred)
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access)
- Experience in reviewing charts for care issues and medical staff communication
