Job Title: Sales Associate

At Chico's FAS, we're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth. As a Sales Associate, you'll play a key role in promoting a customer-focused sales culture and ensuring a great customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet sales goals by utilizing sales techniques and communicating product knowledge to customers.
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, and ensure pricing and visual standards are met.
  • Ensure merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties are completed as directed by Management.
  • Participate in visual directives, including monthly store sets and zone maintenance.
Customer Experience:
  • Model and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards, offering a cohesive omni-channel experience.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns.
  • Ensure a fast and efficient register experience, remaining current on policies regarding payments, coupon acceptance, returns, and exchanges.
  • Reinforce buying decisions at the checkout and achieve add-on goals, including gift card sales.
  • Sign up clients for the reward program.
  • Build and maintain a solid customer following through clienteling and wardrobing.
  • Maintain consistent client communication through the utilization of customer books.
Operational Excellence:
  • Support replenishment activities that keep the store full and abundant.
  • Assist with locate fulfillment.
  • Assist with visual directives, including floor sets, window changes, visual presentations, signage placement, etc., as directed.
  • Assist with boutique cleanliness and organization.
Teamwork and Growth:
  • Promote an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Seek personal developmental opportunities and solicit feedback.

This position may be found in multiple brands, with some duties varying from brand to brand. To be successful in this role, you'll need to be able to learn and adapt to technology provided by the company, communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, and work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
