Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide personal care, including toileting, feeding, and transferring residents.
  • Respond to resident calls promptly and ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Participate in and receive nursing reports at shift changes.
  • Assist with carrying out the service plan document (AL) or care plan document (HC), through the point of care.
  • Ensure resident rooms are comfortable, clean, and safe.
  • Follow established standards and procedures, and maintain a positive, friendly, and courteous attitude towards residents, coworkers, and guests.
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must successfully pass the criminal background check.
  • Must have a personality attuned to the requirements of meeting the needs of the elderly.
  • Must be able to handle a multiplicity of routine tasks, following specific instructions carefully and general instructions completely.
