Job Summary:The Resident Care Aide will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents and be part of a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide personal care, including toileting, feeding, and transferring residents.
- Respond to resident calls promptly and ensure their safety and well-being.
- Participate in and receive nursing reports at shift changes.
- Assist with carrying out the service plan document (AL) or care plan document (HC), through the point of care.
- Ensure resident rooms are comfortable, clean, and safe.
- Follow established standards and procedures, and maintain a positive, friendly, and courteous attitude towards residents, coworkers, and guests.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must successfully pass the criminal background check.
- Must have a personality attuned to the requirements of meeting the needs of the elderly.
- Must be able to handle a multiplicity of routine tasks, following specific instructions carefully and general instructions completely.
