Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Specialist to join our team at Advanced Pain Care. As a Patient Access Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, family members, and internal and external parties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls and electronic requests in a professional and enthusiastic manner.
  • Schedule healthcare appointments, answer questions, and create documents for the medical chart.
  • Troubleshoot problems and provide information on behalf of Advanced Pain Care.
  • Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely responses to patients to ensure optimal customer service.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or missing information and accurately enter data into the electronic medical record system.
  • Write clerical and clinical patient-related messages from patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals to administrative and provider staff.
  • Identify emergent patient situations based on caller information and relay to the appropriate party.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a customer service role.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Working Conditions

The Patient Access Specialist will work in an administrative office environment and must be able to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to bend, stoop, and stretch.
