Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specimen Processing Group Lead to join our team at Quest Diagnostics. As a Group Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Specimen Processing department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and training to perform their duties.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all specimens are processed accurately and efficiently, meeting the highest standards of quality.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the processing of specimens.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in a laboratory environment, preferably in a Specimen Processing role.
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and proficiency in PC skills.
