Specimen Processing Group Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specimen Processing Group Lead to join our team at Quest Diagnostics Incorporated. As a key member of our Specimen Processing department, you will be responsible for leading a team of Specimen Technicians and ensuring the efficient processing of specimens.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Specimen Technicians and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful processing of specimens.
- Coordinate schedules and prioritize work assignments to meet departmental deadlines.
- Monitor production and activity of all Specimen Technicians to ensure productivity and quality goals are met.
- Provide coaching and feedback to employees to improve performance and maintain a positive work environment.
- Assist in training, cross-training, and department auditing functions as assigned by the supervisor.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
- Internal candidates: minimum of one year in SPT III/related role.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in a laboratory environment with Specimen Processing experience preferred.
- Medical background preferred, including medical terminology applicable to a clinical laboratory.
