The Middlesex Corporation is a leading heavy civil construction company with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Administrator to join our team.
Job Summary:The Contract Administrator will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and administering job records, generating budgets, and preparing progress payment requisitions. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review job records, including budgets and progress payment requisitions
- Administer job records, including tracking and reporting on job progress
- Generate and distribute reports, including monthly and bi-weekly progress reports
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in construction administration, accounting, or a related field
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
