Job Description

Incendia Partners is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Manager to lead our team of software engineers. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to the team, helping them improve code quality, address technical debt, and implement modern engineering practices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with experience in leading teams and mentoring engineers. You will be responsible for overseeing large team initiatives surrounding application architecture and infrastructure, driving the upgrade of outdated frameworks and technologies, and leading efforts to modernize the deployment process.

You will also be responsible for fostering strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand their needs, communicate progress, and ensure the team's work aligns with organizational objectives. Additionally, you will coordinate with Project Managers and stakeholders to manage the flow of work, ensuring priorities are aligned with business goals.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of database optimization, ETL processes, and data warehousing, as well as experience working within Azure cloud technologies. You will also have strong experience in IIS/web server management, including configuration, deployment, and performance optimization.

  • Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of related work experience, with 3-5 years of leading a team
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Expertise in ASP.NET MVC applications built in C#
  • Ability to read and write complex SQL stored procedures, functions, and views
  • Deep understanding of database optimization, ETL processes, and data warehousing
  • Experience working within Azure cloud technologies
  • Strong experience in IIS/web server management
