Position Overview:

BayCare Medical Group is seeking an experienced Adult Outpatient Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our BayCare Behavioral Health team in Brooksville, FL. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated PMHNP to provide comprehensive psychiatric care with no on-call responsibilities, ensuring a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up management for individuals with mental health diagnoses, including those with co-occurring disorders (MH SA).
  • Deliver patient care under the supervision of a psychiatric protocol, ensuring the highest standards of practice.
  • Provide clinical consultation to medical services staff and other members of the treatment team.
  • Serve as a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts, contributing to the multidisciplinary approach to mental health care.

Qualifications:
  • Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
  • At least 2 years of post-Master's experience as a PMHNP.
  • Proven experience with Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) is required.
