We are seeking a dedicated Class A truck driver to join our team at Trucking People. As a dedicated driver, you will be assigned to a specific route and will have the opportunity to build a strong relationship with our customers.

Job Responsibilities
  • Drive a Freightliner or Kenworth truck with an automatic transmission and a step deck flatbed trailer.
  • Transport new propane tanks across the eastern half of the United States, excluding NYC.
  • Drive an average of 2,175 miles per week, with 5-6 days of work per week.
  • Take 1-4 layovers per week, with a 34-hour reset at home every week.
  • Meet the requirements for winter driving experience and 6 months of flatbed experience.
Requirements
  • Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
  • 6 months of flatbed experience.
  • Winter driving experience.
  • Steel toe boots, hard hat, gloves, safety vest, and ear plugs.
  • Ability to verify securement and use driver assist unload.
Benefits
  • $18 per hour non-driving pay.
  • $50 per stop stop pay.
  • $25 per hour delay pay.
  • Yes, passengers and pets are allowed per company policy.
