Job Summary
The Veterinary Support Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and a positive client experience at Banfield. This individual supports the veterinarians and veterinary technicians in providing quality care, educates clients on pet health, and maintains a safe and effective hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians in delivering quality patient care.
- Communicate effectively with clients and hospital staff to ensure a smooth patient flow.
- Provide exceptional client service, including educating clients on pet health and hospital services.
- Maintain a safe and clean hospital environment, adhering to standard protocols and guidelines.
- Assist with surgery and other procedures as needed.
- Mentor and support other paraprofessionals in the hospital.
Requirements
