Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our Resident Care Team as a Nursing Care Specialist. This role involves overseeing medication programs, performing treatments, taking vital signs, charting resident information, and collaborating with physicians to ensure high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medication Management: Accurately administer medications, monitor MARs, and assist residents with self-administration.
  • Treatment Administration: Perform ordered treatments, such as injections or wound care, in accordance with physician instructions.
  • Vital Sign Monitoring: Take and record residents' blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and other essential vital signs.
  • Charting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident interactions, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license from an accredited program
  • Active LPN license in good standing throughout employment
  • One year of experience in senior services preferred
  • CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation
  • Current First Aid certification (if required by State)
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
