Nurse Care Specialist

At The AbbeWood, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents. We are seeking a skilled Nurse Care Specialist to join our team in an LPN role.
About the JobThis is a part-time position with flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs. As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering quality assisted living services to our residents. This includes:
- Medication Management: You will oversee the medication program, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in medication assistance records.
- Treatment Administration: You will perform treatments as ordered by physicians and chart relevant information about residents.
- Health Monitoring: You will take vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and blood sugar, and monitor resident health.
- Documentation: You will update and inform physicians of changes in resident condition and transcribe new orders to medication sheets.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license from an accredited program.
- One year of experience in senior services, preferably in assisted living.
- CPR certification upon hire, or obtain during orientation.
- Current First Aid certification (if required by state).
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive benefits, including paid time off, health insurance, and retirement savings plan.
