Job Description:

As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge electrical systems for spacecraft and satellite platforms. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of complex projects, from concept to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Leadership: Lead the design and development of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and electrical interfaces, to meet mission requirements and industry standards.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of electrical engineers, providing technical guidance, managing project assignments, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring that electrical engineering projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into spacecraft and satellite platforms, ensuring seamless integration with mechanical, thermal, and software systems.
  • Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans for electrical systems, conducting performance and reliability testing to validate system functionality and compliance with specifications.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve technical issues related to electrical systems, troubleshooting problems and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and technical manuals, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with company standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role; experience in designing and developing electrical systems for aerospace or high-tech industries is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical system design, power distribution, control systems, and electrical interfaces, proficiency with engineering tools and software for design and simulation (e.g., MATLAB, SPICE).
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a team of engineers, strong project management skills, and experience overseeing complex engineering projects.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Clearance: Must be able to obtain a Secret and/or a TS/SCI clearance.
