Job Description: Lead Electrical Systems DeveloperWe are seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Systems Developer to join our team. This role will involve overseeing the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components for spacecraft and satellite platforms. The successful candidate will have significant experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in design leadership, team management, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:- Design Leadership: Develop and lead the design and development of electrical systems and components, including power distribution, control systems, and electrical interfaces. Ensure designs meet mission requirements and industry standards.
- Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of electrical engineers, providing technical guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of projects.
- Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring that electrical engineering projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into spacecraft and satellite platforms, ensuring seamless integration with mechanical, thermal, and software systems.
- Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans for electrical systems, conducting performance and reliability testing to validate system functionality and compliance with specifications.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve technical issues related to electrical systems, troubleshooting problems and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role. Experience in designing and developing electrical systems for aerospace or high-tech industries is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical system design, power distribution, control systems, and electrical interfaces. Proficiency with engineering tools and software for design and simulation (e.g., MATLAB, SPICE).
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a team of engineers, with strong project management skills and experience overseeing complex engineering projects.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
