Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including physical and emotional evaluations, and develop plans to address any identified needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Active New York State RN License
  • Two years of experience in Medical/Surgical SD or ICU, with skills in IV Insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation
  • BLS & ACLS certification
