RAYUS Radiology is seeking a dedicated Imaging Department Assistant to support our team. As a valued member, you will play a crucial role in maintaining an efficient and organized scanning environment.

Job Overview

The Imaging Department Assistant will provide essential support to technologists, enabling them to maintain an on-time schedule and ensure seamless patient flow. This position requires a flexible and adaptable individual who can work various shifts, including casual and rotating schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule Management: Monitor MRI, CT, arthrogram, and x-ray schedules, adjusting patient timetables as necessary and keeping all technologists informed of any changes.
  • Patient Preparation: Greet and escort patients to the changing room, briefly explaining the procedure, and prepare patient jackets and compile films for each patient.
  • Room Setup and Cleanup: Assist technologists with setting up and cleaning between patients, including arranging coils, changing table sheets, and restocking supplies.
  • Organization and Cleaning: Maintain a clean and organized workspace by stocking and cleaning areas, ensuring that patient prep rooms, restrooms, and supply closets are tidy and well-stocked.
Additional Duties
  • Cleaning and Organization: Clean and organize radiologist reading areas after they have finished their workday.
  • Supply Management: Restock linen, empty laundry at the end of the night, and check with other departments for additional duties as needed.
Requirements

This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can work independently and collaboratively within a team. The ideal candidate should be able to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive patient information.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is around $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. RAYUS Radiology offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
