Job Title: Cabana Server

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Cabana Server to join our team at Convivial Life. As a Cabana Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our residents and guests in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet residents and guests in a polite and positive manner, taking beverage orders and answering questions about the menu.
  • Take food orders, explaining how various menu items are prepared and suggesting any menu item.
  • Submit food orders into the kitchen accurately using a Point-of-Sale system.
  • Serve residents and guests their desired entrees in a friendly and efficient manner, maintaining a pleasant dining experience.
  • Perform clean-up duties after each meal service, preparing and setting up for the next meal.
  • Keep assigned tables clean and properly set up, including vacuuming and arranging tables and chairs.
  • Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens.
Requirements:
  • Partial High School education; High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
  • Strong sanitation habits.
  • Mathematic skills.
  • Strong customer service abilities, actively looking for ways to assist customers and coworkers.
  • Ability to recognize when a problem has occurred and communicate it to management.
Working Conditions:

The Cabana Server will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, standing for the entire workday and withstanding temperature extremes in freezer, refrigerator walk-in, and grill areas. The ability to read and write work-related documents in English is required, as well as the ability to speak clearly and understand the speech of customers and coworkers.
