About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team at Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. As an Armed Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' facilities and personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular patrols of designated buildings and areas to detect and prevent potential security threats.
  • Monitor personnel traffic and activities within the facility to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform functional checks of all equipment and systems used on the post to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or deficiencies to the appropriate authorities.
Requirements
  • At least one of the following qualifications: military service with law enforcement or security duties, eight years' active service in any military branch, bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice, associate degree in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service, or graduation from a certified public safety academy in law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergency situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
