Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and caring massage therapist to join our team. As a massage therapist at Spa Cahaba, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and provide them with a variety of massage modalities.

Responsibilities
  • Perform massage therapy sessions, including Swedish, deep tissue, pregnancy, and couples massages
  • Provide 60, 90, and 120 minute massages tailored to the client's health and wellness needs
  • Create a professional and welcoming environment to put clients at ease
  • Conduct thorough client intake interviews and complete detailed notes at the conclusion of each appointment
  • Clean treatment rooms to our strict disease prevention protocols
  • Perform chair massage at events, on a case-by-case basis
  • Talk with clients about symptoms, medical history, and desired therapeutic results
  • Guide clients through our service offerings and help them choose the types of massages that would benefit them most
  • Design sessions around clients' specific complaints or problem areas
  • Listen to clients during massages and adjust technique to meet their needs
  • Suggest massage schedules for recurring sessions
Requirements
  • Active massage therapist license within the state of Alabama
  • Share our company's ideals of patient-first, patient-care
  • Attention to detail
  • Good organizational and analytical skills
  • Possess a caring and sympathetic manner
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to communicate effectively on the telephone

  • Ability to demonstrate quality customer service
