Job Description

Position Overview

Ryder System is seeking a skilled Truck Driver CDL A Regional to join our team. As a Regional Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination vehicle to transport goods across the country
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and service
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including hours of service and safety regulations
Requirements
  • Class A CDL with endorsements for Hazmat and Doubles/Triples
  • At least 9 months of experience as a Class A CDL driver in the past 3 years
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Pass a background check and DOT physical
