Job Summary

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant Critical Care to join our team. As a critical care physician assistant, you will work in an inpatient critical care area, diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team. You will also focus on health promotion and disease prevention, order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays, and prescribe medication as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an inpatient critical care area
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of employment
  • National Certification in State of employment or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in the State of employment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
