Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Denver Regional Rehabilitation Hospital. As a patient-centered and family-friendly organization, we prioritize providing safe and quality patient care.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy, with a focus on restoring function, improving mobility, relieving pain, and preventing or limiting permanent physical disabilities in patients suffering from injuries or disease.

Responsibilities will include examining patients' medical histories, evaluating their physical abilities, determining their potential to respond to therapy, and developing treatment plans that integrate the hospital's mission and guiding principles.

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely and professionally with others. They will also be able to maintain proper levels of confidentiality and adhere to quality, safety, and infection control standards.

Qualifications include a current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist, Basic Life Support/CPR Certification from an approved vendor, and one year of direct patient care experience in a hospital setting.

Additional qualifications include knowledge of clinical operations and procedures, understanding of treatment costs and financial support, and competency in the provision of care according to established standards.

Leadership skills, organizational and time management skills, written and verbal communication skills, and ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards are also essential.

Please note that the wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $51.00 per hour.
