Job Title: ESL Teacher

We are seeking a highly qualified ESL Teacher to join our team at Wayne County Schools Employment Network. As an ESL Teacher, you will play a critical role in promoting academic success and language proficiency among our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of ESL students.
  • Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students, parents, and administrators.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide individualized support to students who require additional academic assistance.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate.
  • ESL Certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
