About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our team at Kansas State University's Northwest Research-Extension Center in Colby, Kansas. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading multiple research projects focused on improving nitrogen use efficiency in dryland cropping systems and reducing nitrogen losses to N2O greenhouse gas emissions and NH3 volatilization.

The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in soil fertility, agronomy, or a closely related plant or soil science discipline, with a strong background in field research methods and experimental design. They should also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as experience in data processing, QA/QC, statistical analysis, and presentation of data.
