Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at Wavepoint3pl. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of merchandise within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Operations: Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, count, unload, and load merchandise within the warehouse.
  • Inventory Management: Verify quantities, lot numbers, and production code dates against manifests and driver documents. Report any discrepancies to supervision.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Inspect equipment daily and verify that it is operational, and meets safety requirements, before the start of the day's activity. Report any issues to supervision.
  • Stock Rotation: Ensure proper stock rotation to maintain inventory control and security.
  • Physical Inventories: Assist in physical inventories and maintain accurate records.
  • Customer Service: Meet customer service standards by efficiently pulling and preparing products for shipment.
Requirements
  • Experience: Prior forklift experience and safe driving operations.
  • Physical Demands: Standing 4-8 hours a day, walking short periods of time, lifting, occasional heavy lifting, and pushing/pulling.
  • Cognitive Abilities: Detail-oriented, results-driven, and simple problem-solving skills.
  • Language Skills: Must be able to speak, read, and understand the English language.
Compensation

$15-16 hourly wage.
