Job Summary:
CNM Ingenuity is seeking a qualified CDL Examiner and Instructor to conduct classroom and laboratory activities necessary to train students in entry-level truck driving. The successful candidate will be responsible for following the requirements of the CNM Ingenuity CDL Fleet Maintenance Procedure and instructing new drivers in various areas, including safety, basic operational theory, and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for maintaining the CNM Ingenuity CDL Fleet vehicles in compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and New Mexico Department of Transportation.
  • Instruct new drivers in safety, basic operational theory, and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
  • Organize instructional material and lab assignments to meet specific measurable objectives.
  • Maintain accurate student records, manage inventory, and maintain security of lab and tools.
  • Supervise students during assigned hours and provide effective evaluation and assessment of the learning experience.
Requirements:
  • Three years' work experience in Truck Driving and a valid unrestricted CDL Class A License and a current DOT Physical Card.
  • Valid unrestricted Driver's License.
