Restaurant Expeditor

Position: Expo
Reports to: Management Team: GM, AGM, Hospitality Manager, and Floor Manager.

Role Summary: The position of a Restaurant Expo is essential for maintaining an efficient and seamless operation within the dining establishment. This role serves as a critical link between the culinary team and the service staff, ensuring that food orders are coordinated effectively, accurate, and uphold the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Order Management:
   Organize and manage incoming food orders from the kitchen.
   Confirm that each dish adheres to the quality benchmarks before leaving the kitchen.
2. Effective Communication:
   Relay order specifics, special requests, and timing needs between kitchen personnel and the service team.
   Ensure clarity in communication to prevent misunderstandings or delays.
3. Quality Assurance:
   Assess each dish to guarantee it meets the restaurant's presentation and quality criteria before serving.
   Verify that all elements of a dish are present and align with customer preferences.
4. Timing Coordination:
   Synchronize the timing of various dishes to ensure they are served together, enhancing the dining experience.
   Prioritize orders based on restaurant traffic and specific customer requirements.
5. Service Expediency:
   Ensure prompt delivery of all orders to the appropriate tables.
   Collaborate with servers to maintain an efficient pace of service and prevent service delays.

   Work alongside kitchen staff to tackle challenges related to order accuracy or timing.
7. Workspace Organization:
