Job Description
This position requires a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in the Emergency Department at Mount Carmel Dublin. The LPN will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse to deliver patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines of the Organization. This individual will be accountable for ensuring that each patient receives compassionate and respectful care.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person's physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs
  • Collaborate with other members of the patient care team to achieve high-quality patient outcomes
  • Document accurately and completely pertinent information/data in accordance with documentation standards, policies, procedures, and/or guidelines

Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Graduate of School of Practical Nursing
  • Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Ohio
  • Successful completion of an LPN IV therapy course with proof of certification through one of the following: LPN Curriculum (i.e., part of Ohio's required curriculum), National Certification (i.e., NAPNES), or through IV training course that includes pharmacology at a hospital
  • Current BLS/CPR

The Emergency Department at Mount Carmel Dublin operates in 24 beds with a mixture of adult and pediatric patients with a variety of medical conditions. Our team works collaboratively to provide exceptional patient experience while delivering evidence-based care.
