Pediatrician - PRN

Inova Health System is committed to providing exceptional care to our most vulnerable communities. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatrician to join our team at Inova Cares Clinic for Children in Falls Church, VA.

We are looking for a Pediatrician who is passionate about helping patients in underserved populations. As a PRN Pediatrician, you will be responsible for providing primary care to children from birth through 21 years of age. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us deliver high-quality care to our patients.

• Complete initial assessments and evaluations of new patients
• Provide ongoing monitoring of patients' medical conditions and treatment
• Order prescription medications and diagnostic procedures
• Authorize and coordinate specialty and ancillary services
• Participate in staff development and clinical teaching
• Maintain consultative relationships with nurses, social workers, and other staff members

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Completion of an appropriate residency program
• 3 years of active practice in medicine (preferred but not required)
• Current, active license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia
• Medical specialty license or certification (preferred)
• Proficiency in Spanish and English (strongly preferred)
