Pediatrician - PRN

Inova Health System is committed to providing exceptional care to our most vulnerable communities. We are seeking a dedicated Pediatrician to join our team at the Inova Cares Clinic for Children in Falls Church, VA.

As a Pediatrician at Inova Cares Clinic, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in need. You will be responsible for providing primary pediatric care, including well-child visits, immunizations, and sick care for children from birth through 21 years of age.

• Complete initial assessments and evaluations of new patients
• Provide ongoing monitoring of patients' medical conditions and treatment
• Order prescription medications and diagnostic procedures
• Authorize and coordinate specialty and ancillary services
• Participate in staff development and clinical teaching
• Maintain consultative relationships with nurses, social workers, and other staff members

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Completion of an appropriate residency program
• 3 years of active practice in medicine (preferred but not required)
• Current, active license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia
• Medical specialty license or certification (preferred)
• Proficiency in Spanish and English (strongly preferred)
